At the far end of Joshua Space's Contained installation is a huge kaleidoscope, filling the back of the container from wall to wall, and floor to ceiling. From a distance, the lighted composition stretches to encompass the entire back wall. However, as the viewer approaches, the image changes and pulls back, creating a planetoid-like object that has a size and presence greater than the container. Equipoise will challenge the viewer's perception of space.
