For his Contained installation, Robert Raczka shot 40 photographs during the course of a 3-hour walk in and around Market Square. Taken during the change from day to night, the photographs were shot on a tri-pod using, in most cases, several seconds of exposure time. They capture a sense of movement through space, a rhythm between wider shots and close-ups, the use of characteristic details, intermittent episodes that interrupt the rhythm by concentrating on something for several frames, and a sense of time passing through the fading light.
