This is the final post in a series of posts introducing this year’s Emerging Artist Scholarship recipients. The following artists, in addition to the artists previously revealed, will be showcasing their work at the Festival’s Artists Market.
Deanna Mance
Deanna Mance draws complex cities of lines, shapes and colors. She creates her work, using ink, graphite and acrylics, on tea-stained paper. She also often utilizes wood, enamel, transparencies, adhesives and various types of paper.

Maria Mangano
Maria Mangano uses the rare printmaking technique intaglio to produce diminutive etchings, engravings and drypoints, some measuring just two square inches. She draws inspiration from nature with works depicting insects and birds. Maria earned a BFA at Carnegie Mellon University.
