Comment Policy

Three Rivers Arts Festival welcomes comments on artsfestival.net, particularly those that further conversation and dialogue about arts in Pittsburgh. Three Rivers Arts Festival strives to present a variety of viewpoints and to represent the diversity of Pittsburgh artistic community.

For artsfestival.net, we strive to maintain a respectful tone that is welcoming to everyone, and expect contributors to do the same. Comments on the site are moderated with that goal in mind. As part of our community, please:

  1. Feel free to use an alias, but include an actual email address. Your email address will not be published publicly, but it lets us contact you directly if you’ve asked a question or voiced a concern. We give priority to commenters who leave real contact information.
  2. Refrain from using foul or abusive language. This website is PG.
  3. Do not include personal or ad hominem attacks against artists, Festival staff or other commenters.
  4. Don’t spam us or try to sell something. This includes using keywords instead of a name or saying “Great post!” and linking to irrelevant content.
  5. Please only promote your own music, performance or art if it is relevant to the topic at hand. Random “check out my art!” comments will be marked as spam.

We retain the discretion to determine which comments violate our comment policy, and reserve the right to remove violating comments and/or mark those commenters as spam.
