Phoebe Snow is Back on the Scene and Coming to Town
Phoebe Snow's soothing, melodic vocals will grace this year's Three Rivers Arts Festival on Saturday, June 14 at 7:30 pm on the Main Stage. All Three Rivers Arts Festival Main Stage performances are free and open to the public.
A guitarist and vocalist, Snow was nominated for a Grammy early in her career. She has performed blues, jazz and popular music worldwide for over thirty years, delivering acclaimed entertainment and claiming her due rewards along the way.
Snow has performed on stage with artists such as Jewel, Billy Joel, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, Cyndi Lauper, and Michael Bolton and even appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. In 1998, she was awarded the Cultural Achievement Award by New York City Mayor, Rudy Giuliani. Snow is now taking the stage again, following her first CD release of original material in over fourteen years, 2003's Natural Wonder.
"I'm so pleased that Phoebe Snow is touring again," says Festival Executive Director, Elizabeth Reiss. "We've been waiting a long time to present her Three Rivers Arts Festival debut."
